These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QuixoraDB website and the temporary database provisioning service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
QuixoraDB provisions short-lived database instances (Redis, MongoDB, MySQL 5.7 / 8.4, PostgreSQL) on demand. Access is granted by redeeming a single-use code purchased on Payhip. Each code unlocks one isolated instance for the duration purchased (1, 7 or 30 days).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to enter into a legally binding contract.
3. Codes and instances
- Each redemption code is single-use. Once activated, it is bound to one database instance.
- Re-submitting the same code while the instance is still active returns the same connection details (idempotent).
- If the instance has been disabled or expired, the code can no longer be redeemed.
- Instances are automatically disabled after the purchased duration ends. Data is removed.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Store or transmit illegal, infringing or malicious content.
- Attempt to access other tenants' data or compromise the underlying infrastructure.
- Use the database as long-term production storage; instances are temporary by design.
- Resell access without our written consent.
5. Data and backups
You are solely responsible for backing up data before the instance expires. We do not guarantee any data retention beyond the expiration time, and we may delete data without further notice.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but provide the Service "as is" without warranty of any kind. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (including Payhip) or force majeure events may cause downtime.
7. Pricing and payments
Pricing is shown on the homepage and on the Payhip checkout page. Payments are processed by Payhip and subject to their terms. We do not store your payment details.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Codes may be invalidated, and remaining time may be forfeited. Where the breach is not your fault, the Refund Policy applies.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuixoraDB and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
