This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use QuixoraDB, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
- Redemption code you submit, used solely to verify your purchase with Payhip and to provision a database.
- Buyer email and order metadata returned by Payhip after a successful verification, used for support and reconciliation.
- Generated database credentials (host, port, username, password, default database name, connection string) shown to you once at activation. We do not store the password after the response is sent.
- Server logs including IP address, user agent, request path and timestamps, used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
2. What we do not collect
- Your payment details. Payments are processed by Payhip; we never see card numbers.
- Personal data inside the temporary database. The contents of your instance are not inspected by us.
- Tracking cookies for advertising. We use only the strictly-necessary anti-forgery cookie.
3. How we use the data
- To verify your code and create the database instance.
- To respond to support requests and resolve disputes.
- To detect abuse, fraud and security incidents.
- To meet legal obligations.
4. Third parties
- Payhip processes purchases and verifies redemption codes. See Payhip's privacy policy for their practices.
- Hosting provider hosts the application and database servers.
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to operate the Service or when required by law.
5. Retention
- Database instances are automatically disabled at the purchased expiration time. Their contents are removed shortly after.
- Activation logs (including buyer email) are retained for up to 24 months for support and accounting.
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Contact us through the Payhip support channel.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure may be located in jurisdictions different from yours. By using the Service you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in those locations.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and isolate tenants per instance. No system is completely secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please report it through the Payhip support channel.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
